Who are the  churches of Christ and what do they believe in?

Bay Area church of Christ serves about 525 members, and has many ministries and programs, including an active Campus Ministry (CIA - Christians InAction) at USF and Hillsborough Community College, a Youth Ministry that reaches more than 15 area high schools, and a Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes program for children in third through twelfth grades. 

Bay Area church of Christ also offers many Small Group bible studies, which meet at various times and locations throughout the Bay Area during the week.

Bay Area church of Christ supports missionaries in India, Guyana, and South Africa, as well as orphanages and adoption groups, including Mount Dora Children's Home (Florida) and Hope Children's Home (Guyana). Bay Area church of Christ also supports Dr. Demar Elam of Open Door Ministries.

Bay Area church of Christ currently has five elders, nine deacons, and three full-time ministers on staff.

Jim Miltner Update Many have expressed concern for how one of our members is doing following an accident. Jim is now home and continuing to improve. He has improved enough to be able to go to church as of 2/24/2008. Please call before visiting. Please continue to pray that his healing continues and that God will be glorified through this accident.

Our purpose at Bay Area church of Christ is to Glorify God, to bring others to Jesus Christ, and to edify each member, teaching the Word of God and living the truth in love.

Bay Area has been blessed to be able to serve many families lately from our food pantry.  Our food pantry is available to anyone (members and non-members) who may need it on Sundays from 1:00PM to 3:00PM .
